Terms of Use
Who we are
LongHouse is a DBA of Witch Haven Grove LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. "We," "us," and "LongHouse" in these terms refer to that entity.
What we're providing
LongHouse operates a civic-education website comprising the Civic Library (primers and case briefs on constitutional foundations), the Constitutional Platform (a lead-magnet and reading-plan distribution), the Penny Knights program information, meeting announcements, the Governance page, and related educational content. Access to all content is free.
Your use of the site
You may read, share, quote, and link to LongHouse content for personal, educational, civic, or journalistic purposes. You may not:
- Copy or redistribute substantial portions of the Civic Library verbatim for commercial use without permission
- Misrepresent LongHouse's authorship (e.g., claim a LongHouse primer as your own work)
- Remove citations or source attributions when quoting
- Submit false, misleading, or harassing information through any form on this website
- Attempt to interfere with the website's operation or security
Content is educational, not professional advice
LongHouse's civic-education content — including the Civic Library, Constitutional Platform materials, Seven-Year Goals Process primer, Community Financing primer, and related publications — is educational in nature. It is not legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, or professional counsel of any kind. Readers should consult licensed professionals for specific situations, particularly where any arrangement involves pooled money, shared ownership, or federal or state securities law.
LongHouse is not a law firm; its primary author is not a licensed attorney. Every civic-library entry cites primary sources so readers can verify and extend the analysis independently; no chapter asks the reader to accept the library's framing on the library's authority alone.
Intellectual property
LongHouse's original content — primers, case briefs, commentary, and the compilation of the Civic Library itself — is © 2026 Witch Haven Grove LLC, except as otherwise noted. Quotations from primary sources (court opinions, statutes, constitutional texts, historical documents) are in the public domain or used under fair use as appropriate.
You may quote reasonable portions of LongHouse content with attribution. For larger reuse, please contact us.
Limitation of liability
LongHouse provides its content "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LongHouse, its members, employees, volunteers, and contractors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or reliance on its content.
Changes to these terms
LongHouse may revise these terms from time to time. Material revisions — changes to permitted uses, intellectual-property terms, or liability limitations — will be announced with reasonable notice before taking effect, in a manner consistent with the governance page's revision-process commitments. Continued use of the site after revisions take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising under or related to these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Contact
Questions regarding these terms may be directed to the contact address on the governance page.
Notes on what this is and isn't
These terms describe LongHouse's current operating practice in plain language. They are not a substitute for legal counsel and have not been reviewed by outside counsel. Brady — the current LongHouse operator — will replace this document with counsel-reviewed terms when LongHouse revenue operations go live and the additional liability surface warrants it.
