Privacy Notice

Effective: 2026-04-16. This notice is subject to revision; every revision is dated, and material changes receive public notice before taking effect.

Who we are

LongHouse is a DBA of Witch Haven Grove LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. "We," "us," and "LongHouse" in this notice refer to that entity. Our public contact address is posted on the governance page.

What information we collect

LongHouse collects only the information that voluntary participants submit to us through forms on this website. Specifically:

  • Email address and name when submitted through the Constitutional Platform reading-plan form or the Lead Intake form
  • Civic inquiry content when submitted through the Lead Intake form or contact forms — the free-text description of an issue, opportunity, or question
  • Basic analytics data collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) and by Google Analytics 4 — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring site, and approximate geographic location derived from IP. No personally-identifying information is included in this dataset.

What we do with it

Email addresses collected through the Constitutional Platform form receive the five-case starter reading plan by email (one message). Email addresses may be retained for subsequent LongHouse civic-content communications if the participant has consented to ongoing contact. Participants may request removal at any time by replying to any LongHouse email or by emailing the contact address in our governance page footer.

Civic inquiry content submitted through intake forms is used to respond to the inquiry and, where relevant, to structure follow-up discussion or research. Inquiries may be anonymized and included in aggregated civic-library content; specific details are not shared without the participant's consent.

Analytics data is used for site-traffic analysis and performance improvement. It is not used for advertising targeting, and it is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties beyond the analytics platforms themselves.

Where the information is stored

Participant submissions (email, name, inquiry content) are stored in Airtable (a US-based cloud database service) and transmitted via n8n Cloud (an EU-based workflow automation service). Outbound email is sent through Resend (a US-based transactional email service). Analytics data is stored by Cloudflare (US and global infrastructure) and Google Analytics 4 (US-based).

All of these providers have their own privacy practices, which govern their handling of the data they receive from us.

Data retention

Participant records are retained for up to seven years from the last active interaction, consistent with the LongHouse seven-year public-record retention standard documented in the governance page. Participants may request earlier deletion at any time by emailing the contact address.

Your choices

  • Access — request a copy of any personal information LongHouse holds about you
  • Correction — request correction of information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Deletion — request deletion of any personal information, subject to any legal retention obligations
  • Opt-out of communications — reply to any LongHouse email or contact the email address in the governance-page footer

Children's privacy

LongHouse does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints regarding this privacy notice may be directed to the contact address on the governance page.

Notes on what this is and isn't

This notice describes LongHouse's current privacy practice in plain language. It is not a substitute for legal counsel and has not been reviewed by outside counsel. LongHouse does not collect payment information directly; any payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Stripe for other brands in the Blue Oak Grove ecosystem) whose own privacy policies apply. Participants who are concerned about specific data-handling scenarios should contact us before submitting information.
