LongHouse meetings are public, safe spaces for slow and effective change. This agreement applies to all attendees, speakers, and volunteers.
Speak directly and respectfully. Disagreement is welcome. Hostility is not.
Five-minute speaking limit, enforced by the facilitator. No exceptions without coordinator approval.
No interruptions during someone's speaking time.
Personal attacks, threats, or intimidation result in immediate removal.
Everyone has the right to be heard. No one has the right to dominate.
All meetings are recorded (audio and video) and published to the Library within 48 hours.
By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in recordings.
Testimony submitted through forms is timestamped and stored for 7 years as part of the public civic record.
Written statements can be corrected by contacting the chapter coordinator.
Your personal contact information (email, phone) is never published — only your name and statement.
Meeting venues are selected for public accessibility (ADA-compliant civic libraries).

Remote participation options will be available as the program grows.
Rusty Pennies are responsible for physical safety at every meeting.
If you experience harassment, intimidation, or feel unsafe, speak to a Rusty Penny or the meeting facilitator immediately.
To report a concern before or after a meeting, use the contact form or email directly.
All safety reports are reviewed by the chapter coordinator within 24 hours.
Meetings are open to people of all ages accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Unaccompanied minors under 16 cannot attend without prior arrangement with the chapter coordinator.
